Your photo, time zone, and sign-in

The basics of your account

A few things about your account are yours to change any time. Most of them live in Settings, under You.

Your photo

Open Settings, then You, to add or change your photo. It shows next to your posts in the Community, so people recognize you. If you run a coaching practice here, your clients see it too.

Your time zone

Your time zone is in Settings, under You, too. Pick yours from the list and save. Emails we send on a schedule, like a daily recap of replies, use it so they arrive at the right hour for you. If you run a coaching practice here, it also sets the hours your clients see.

Tip: If you signed up with Google, check this once. We may have started you on UTC, and we will suggest the time zone your browser is set to.

Your password

Signed in with an email and password? To change your password, sign out, then choose Forgot password? on the sign-in page. We will email you a link to set a new one. If you sign in with Google, your password lives with your Google account instead.

Your name and email address

Your name and email address are not something you can change in Settings. If either needs updating, reach out and we will help.

The emails we send you

You choose which emails you get, including Community reply emails, in Settings, under Notifications. See notification preferences.
