Effective Date: September 24, 2026 · Version: 1.0
Audience: every member of the Hubabble Community (coaches, and the students, graduates, and trainers whose access a partner training organization sponsors).
Why this place exists
The Hubabble Community is where coaches support each other. It is the classmates you trained with, the coaches a few steps ahead of you, and the people who remember what your first paying client felt like. It lives inside the tool you run your practice in, so the help is right where you need it.
A community like that only works if everyone can trust it. These guidelines are the short version of what keeps that trust intact. They are part of the Hubabble Terms of Service (Section 9 covers the Community in detail), and they apply in every space, including the class spaces we host with a partner.
You do not need to memorize them. Most of it comes down to three things: protect your clients, treat people well, and give more than you take.
1. Your clients are never in the room
This is the one rule with no exceptions.
Coaching conversations are confidential, and your clients trusted you with theirs. Nothing you post here should let anyone work out who a client is. That means no names, no initials with enough context to identify someone, no photos, no screenshots of messages or notes, no intake answers, no health or mental-health details, and nothing a client told you in confidence.
It applies in every space, including your class space and small groups. It applies when you are asking for help with a hard situation. It applies even if the client would probably be fine with it.
You can still ask for help. Describe the situation in general terms: "a client keeps rescheduling and I'm not sure how to name it" works. "My client Sarah, the nurse from Bend" does not.
If you slip, delete the post right away and tell us at privacy@hubabble.com. If someone else does, report it (see section 8) rather than replying to it. Posting identifiable client information is treated as a serious breach, and we may remove the content and pause your access on the spot.
2. Be the kind of coach you'd want to learn from
Assume the person on the other end is doing their best. Disagree with ideas, not people. Ask before you advise. Celebrate other members' wins without turning them into a pitch for your own.
Not welcome here: harassment, bullying, threats, slurs, discrimination of any kind, sexual content, or content that promotes violence or self-harm. Not even as a joke, and that will include private messages if we ever add them.
If a conversation gets heated, step away from it. You can always come back tomorrow.
3. Speak for yourself
Post under your own name, with a real photo if you add one. Say what you actually know and have actually done. Do not claim credentials, results, or affiliations you do not have, and do not pretend to be someone else or to speak for a school or company that has not asked you to.
What members share here is their own view, and it is not professional, legal, medical, or financial advice from Hubabble or from a partner. Use your judgment, and get a professional's help when a situation calls for one.
4. Referrals and practice sessions: give first
The referral and practice exchange is one of the best things about this Community. It stays that way if it feels like colleagues helping colleagues, not a marketplace.
- Offer a referral because it is a good fit for the client, not because of what you get back.
- When you ask for a referral, say what you are actually looking for and who you are a fit for.
- Practice sessions are a gift between peers. Show up, be on time, and give useful feedback.
- Any arrangement two members make between themselves is between them. Hubabble is not a party to it, and we do not verify anyone's credentials.
Anything a client shares in a referral conversation is covered by section 1: pass along what the client agreed you could share, and nothing more.
5. Self-promotion has a home, and it is not everywhere
Sharing what you do is part of being a coach, and there are spaces designed for it. Use them. Outside those spaces, keep promotion out of the conversation.
Not okay anywhere: posting the same pitch across several spaces, promoting affiliate links or multi-level programs, collecting members' details for your own list or campaign, or messaging people who did not ask to hear from you. If a member says "no thanks," that is the end of it.
A good test: would you be glad to see this post from someone else? If not, do not post it.
6. Respect other people's work
Share your own material, or material you have permission to share. Do not repost course materials, workbooks, recordings, or anything else that belongs to a partner or another member without their say-so. If you quote someone, credit them.
If you believe something posted here infringes your copyright, the Terms of Service (Section 9.8) explain how to send us a notice and how we handle it.
7. Keep it safe
Do not post anything illegal, do not try to get into class or members-only spaces you were not added to, and do not share a class join code outside the class it was given to. If you spot a security problem, tell us at privacy@hubabble.com rather than testing it.
Members must be 18 or older. Clients of coaches are not members and cannot see anything here.
8. When something is wrong, tell us
Every post and reply has a way to report it. Use it. Reporting is quiet: the person you reported is not told who reported them. You can also write to privacy@hubabble.com.
Hubabble runs and moderates the Community, in every space, including the class spaces we host with a partner. Our moderators are members of the Hubabble team. A partner does not moderate and does not receive reports; if someone from a partner's team also works on Hubabble, they act for Hubabble and under these same guidelines. Moderators can remove or hide content, lock a thread, move a post to a better space, or pause someone's access. We do not review everything before it appears, so please help us by reporting what we might miss.
If we act on something you posted, we will tell you what we did and why whenever that is practical. If you think we got it wrong, write to privacy@hubabble.com and a person will look at it again.
9. What happens when a guideline is broken
Most of the time, a quiet word is enough, and that is where we start. Depending on what happened, we may:
- remove or hide the content;
- ask you to edit a post;
- remove you from a specific space;
- pause your Community access for a while; or
- end your Community access.
Client confidentiality breaches, harassment, and anything illegal skip the quiet word. Losing Community access does not, by itself, close your Hubabble account or affect the practice tools you pay for, though a serious breach can also lead to account action under the Terms of Service.
10. Your posts, and leaving
What you post is yours. You give Hubabble the permission it needs to show it to the members who share your spaces and to include it in their notifications and digests; the exact license is in the Terms of Service, Section 9.4. We do not use your posts in our marketing without asking you first. We may someday use posts to help improve Hubabble, including its AI features. We don't do that today, and before we ever do, we'll tell you and give you an easy way to opt out. The details are in our Privacy Policy, Section 16.
You can delete your own posts and replies at any time. If you leave the Community or close your account, your profile disappears and any posts you left in place stay in their threads attributed to a former member, so nobody else's conversation falls apart. If you would rather those went too, ask us at privacy@hubabble.com and we will delete them.
11. Changes to these guidelines
We will update these guidelines as the Community grows and as we learn what it needs. When we make a change that matters, we will tell you inside the Community. The Effective Date and Version at the top always show the current version.
