# Set your availability

> Set your weekly hours in Availability, add date overrides for days off, and Hubabble turns that into the open times clients can book.

## Tell Hubabble when you are free

Your availability is the foundation of booking. Set it once, and Hubabble offers clients only the times you are genuinely free. Open **Availability** to get started.

### Set your weekly hours

Start with your regular week. For each day, set the hours you want to coach. For example, you might offer Tuesday and Thursday afternoons, and keep mornings for yourself.

These hours repeat every week, so you only set them once.

### Add date overrides for days off

Real life does not follow a perfect weekly pattern. Date overrides let you adjust specific days without touching your normal hours.

- Block a day off for a holiday or a personal day.
- Open a one-off slot on a day you would not usually work.
- Shorten or shift your hours for a single date.

### How this drives your booking slots

The open times clients see come straight from your availability, minus anything already on your **Calendar**. So if a session is already booked at 2pm, that slot disappears for everyone else automatically.

> Tip: Add your known days off in advance. It keeps your booking link honest, and you will never have to decline a session you cannot make.

Next, [create session types](/help/your-calendar-and-booking/create-session-types) so clients know what they are booking.
