# Add and manage clients

> Add a client in the Clients area to keep their details, sessions, and notes together in one record, so you always have the full picture in front of you.

## Everyone in one place

Your **Clients** area is the home for every client you work with. Each person gets their own record, so their details, sessions, and your notes all live together. No more hunting through your inbox to remember where you left off.

### Add a client

To add someone, open **Clients** and add a new client. You only need the basics to start, like their name and email. You can fill in more over time as you get to know them.

Clients who book you through your booking link can also appear here automatically, so your list grows as your practice does.

### What a client record holds

A client record gives you the full picture at a glance:

- Their contact details.
- Where they are in your pipeline, from a new lead to an active or past client.
- Their sessions with you.
- Your private [session notes](/help/clients-and-your-crm/session-notes).

### Importing the basics

If you are coming from somewhere else, you can bring your existing clients in by adding their core details. Start with names and emails, and build out each record as you go.

> Tip: You do not need a perfect record to begin. Add a name and an email, and let the rest fill in naturally as you work together.
